Everything we do is tailored to your own abilities so no matter what age you are we can accommodate you. Our training is based on functional fitness and teaching of proper movement patterns. We focus on overall body awareness and how to move properly to promote strength and prevent injury. FORM OVER WEIGHT is our motto here. We have a staff of highly educated teachers with multiple certifications. We are a diverse community with a culture focused on fun and hard work. Our L.I.F.E. class stands for, “Longevity In Functional Efficiency” Our goal in this class is to demonstrate that no one is too old or out-of-shape to benefit from the basic CrossFit principles. We aim to teach and utilize a variety of functional movements so that you not only can move better on a day to day basis, you can lose some extra weight, tone up, and learn how to fuel your body better!
This class gives you the knowledge needed to have a safe, and effective workout while we take you through a more “gentle” version of a CrossFit class. We use this class to focus more on mobility and longevity and put less emphasis on competition and intensity. Concerned you won’t be able to move or perform the way you think you’ll be asked to? No need to worry Decorum and their staff know how to tailor everything to your own unique abilities and fitness level.  We start where you are and take you to more than you thought you could be. 
This class is led by Decorum’s lead instructor Lauren who possesses numerous certifications in multiple areas of specialties and has almost a decade worth of knowledge and experience in CrossFit. Currently Lauren is the only Level 2 CrossFit Trainer in the North West Ohio area and she brings tons of valuable knowledge to her classes in many forms. Lauren not only is one of the most highly educated trainers when it comes to CrossFit, but she is also an actively practicing licensed RN. You can take comfort in knowing that she has a multitude of experience when it comes to any type of health issues/concerns as well as experience with different limiting mobility issues. She has practiced as an Emergency Room Nurse as well as a Surgical Nurse. With her background in healthcare she has been able help numerous people with diagnosis’s such as MS, RA, other auto-immune disorders, Thyroid issues, people with joint replacements, back/neck problems, and other health issues achieve amazing fitness results.
